Trisharan - Another Album from Tripura

Hello friends,

I had been contemplating when I would publish Trisharan album on world wide web. I don't know how many of us know about Trisharan- the one and only religious Chakma album from Tripura. The album has eight beautiful Chakma religious song on Buddhism and the all songs are sung very beautifully.

So far I know, the album is made within a short span. This is because, all the singers- specially Mr. Sambhulal Chakma had been very busy with Bizumela at Kanchanpur. The hardship that the singers had to undergo is to translate them from Bengali. I mean, most of the songs are written in Bengali and they had to be translated in Chakma before they could be sung. This is because almost all songs are written by our revered Buddhist monks. The cover of the album will tell this story.

Trisharan

The album really has wonderful songs especially no. 1. Jurey Jai. This song is sung by Mr. Sambhulal and is written by Yasho Dhammha Vikkhu. Then, we have another wonderful duet from Mr. Sambhulal and Nr. Vicky at no.8. The song is Buddha Nangor. But, you can't just forget the song sung by Mr. Sanjit Chakma which is at no.3. The name of the song is Ei Manei Jinghani.

Muor Hoda - Chakma mp3 album

In continuation of my previous post, I have come to blog again. Worthless to mention though, it had consumed me more time than any other upload I have ever done over the recent past owing to network sluggishness resulting out of continuous rain in my area.

This time I would present you with Muor Hoda, the 2nd album brought to us by AMI EK JHAAK, a Chakma Students' Cultural organization involving many including Mr. Sambhulal Chakma. The album is said to be the brain child of Mr. Sambhulal Chakma itself. Apart from him, major role is played by Trishna, Dual, Tabana and Vicky Chakma.

After knowing to the artistes, it is time now to throw a little light on the album concerned. I am sure you know very well the famous song Gaburi Bizut Gele Mologe Aina takes its origin from this album. The beautiful song is sung by Mr. Sambhulal and Tabana. Even the song has been choreographed very well. I am sure many of you have watched it. If you haven't I bet you are missing something from Baganbari Bizumela 2012. Owing to the electrical failure, the video could not be captured properly.

Often suggested by my Chakma favourite singer Mr. Sambhulal, I cannot help blogging today just to help our friends who are staying at far off places. I mean to say, today I am going to give you all the links of all the songs sung by our Chakma Star singer Mr. Sambhulal Chakma.

Mr. Sambhula Chakma

To Begin with, I shall start with this year mega hit that came out from AMI EK JHAK. You are correct, I was talking of Pottey Amol Album. The Audio CD has nine beautiful tracks. One of the tracks being the introduction of the audio album though. The album has been financed by Mr. Aniruddha Chakma, the General Secretary of Tripura Chakma Students' Association. If you had already watched the Interview given to http://www.youtube.com/bizumela , Mr. Chakma has already mentioned of that in there. Now let's take a look into the cover of the Audio. The pictures in the front is pretty inspiring and in the back side of the cover contains the track list of the CD. Please remember that the price mentioned in the cover is only 60 bucks which is decently marginal. It is to be mentioned here that if one really thinks of commercialization of the albums, you would only find 'LOSS' in the long run for none of the Chakma CDs atleast in Tripura could be properly marketed. Reasons behind this, are many which I need not explain here.
